How to run survey in a kiosk mode?

SurveyLab can work in a kiosk mode. This way you can turn your tablet or smartphone into a terminal that will be used to collect feedback eg. to conduct customer satisfaction surveys at a point of sales or customer service desc.

Kiosk mode surveys will allow you to :

  • Measure customer satisfaction or NPS at the point of service.
  • Collect customer feedback directly at the point of sales or customer service.
  • Run a survey on mobile devices.

In order to start a survey in a kiosk mode :

  1. Create a survey collector and go to the collector settings.
  2. Set On survey end : Start new response.
  3. Go to ADVANCED SETTINGS.
  4. Turn on Multiple responses per respondent.

Additional settings

You can hide SurveyLab logo in the survey footer.

  1. Press Theme button.
  2. Select theme and press Edit button.
  3. Deselect Show logo.

You can set automatic survey close-out when it remains inactive for a certain time.

  1. Go to collector SETTINGS / ADVANCED SETTINGS.
  2. Select Close survey if inactive.
  3. Select time (in seconds) survey will be automatically closed if inactive.
  4. Select time (in seconds) an alert will be displayed if survey is inactive.

NOTE. We recommend using additional MDM (Mobile Device Management) software on your mobile device that acts as a kiosk to manage it remotely.
